Marja and Jon's Hotel Sorrento Wedding

M+J had a gorgeous wedding set right in the heart of Seattle at Hotel Sorrento. If I had to describe these two in 3 words it would be classy, kindhearted, and fun. I think their wedding day really captured who they are as a couple. The venue lends itself to their style naturally, but everything from her stunning shoes and dress to the wedding signage was gorgeous. Marja was one of my most relaxed brides to date, casually sipping champagne all morning with her pup in her arms. After their first look, we spent some time exploring the hotel and then she asked if we could go relax and have some drinks (don't have to ask me twice, girl!) we spent some time just hanging out with their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was very special, officiated by her brother, there were tears and laughs, kisses and cheers. Their cocktail hour was set up with an outdoor balcony, despite the on and off rain plenty of guests were able to enjoy the space and take in the city views. Their toasts were some that I still remember to this day, I laughed out loud from behind my camera multiple times. They spent the rest of the evening dancing and celebrating such a beautiful wedding, and even more beautiful marriage. Congrats M+J, you two are rockstars.

Brit + Kris Wedding

This has been one of my most intimate weddings to date. I met Brittany when I was in college, her sister and I attended university together and I met her during one of her visits down. I remember the first time I spent time with them, I knew I loved them. They radiate kindness, and joy, and you can not help but have the softest spot in your heart for them. When she contacted me about her wedding, I knew it would be an evening of so much love and happiness and just genuine people- it truly was! With just a handful of her closest family and friends, Brittany and Kris got married at JM Cellars in Woodinville. It's a gorgeous venue, it has greenery and details and colors are made for a wedding! From the getting ready rooms that are filled with natural light, to the small and intimate ceremony location, every detail was perfect. They had one long dinner table under some twinkle lights and I think almost every person at this table gave a toast filled with laughter, tears, and so much love. By the end of the night, I actually felt like I knew each guest attending, it made me heart so full! I'm not going to lie, I generally have low expectations for smaller wedding dance parties. I figured this wedding would die down slowly and come to a quiet ending. I couldn't have been more wrong- these people can DANCE! Though it was a small wedding, it was a full dance floor. For live music we were lucky enough to have Bradford Loomis playing for us and it was FREAKING AMAZING. This evening was SO special, I literally loved every second of this day, and I couldn't be happier for the two of them! CONGRATS B + K!

Carli + Lance Tree Farm Wedding

This was my last wedding of the summer! Hard to believe but MAN it ended my wedding season the BEST. NOTE. POSSIBLE. These two, this day, the dress, the details, the people; everything was perfect. Look at HER! and look at HIM! TOTAL BABES! By the end of the night, I seriously felt part of the family. This happens sometimes when the wedding is small, but this wedding wasn't small. But the intimate details shared in toasts and small conversations I was lucky enough to have with family members and guests throughout the day, I could just feel so much love and support around these two on their wedding day. We had the most perfect weather and our timeline went flawlessly, we can chalk this up to a pretty rad group of vendors Carli handpicked for her wedding day. Just when I thought the day couldn't get better, the dance floor opened up. BEST. DANCE. PARTY. EVER. I can say with confidence that Carli (and maybe even Lance?!) never left the dance floor. I can also say that most of their guests also rarely left the dance floor- it was awesome. The night ended with a sparkler Exit, C+L ran through their tunnel, gave each other a big kiss, and exited waving behind them with huge smiles on their faces. It was truly a night I don't think most people were wanting to end, so much fun- such genuine and kindhearted energy, I have nothing but good feelings when I think back to this day.
