Aubree and Jeff Olympic Peninsula Wedding

Aubree and Jeff got married out on his parent’s property on the Olympic Peninsula. I remember when the booked me for this, they told me the city, I looked it up- it’s a small town. My expectations for this “backyard wedding” were completely blown out of the water. His parent’s live on acres and acres of gorgeous PNW land that overlook sound and are surrounded by evergreen trees and mountains (yes, I would like to move there too- it’s freaking gorgeous) They had the most perfect day for this, with mostly clouds and some sunshine during their reception. They brought in a dance floor and strung lights, there was cake, there was dancing, and there was SO MUCH LOVE. I am completely obsessed with these two as individuals, their families are the kindest, and I’m over the moon about them as a married couple. They are beautiful inside and out! Congrats A + J!

Sarah and Erik's Rainy PNW Wedding

Sarah and Erik got married at a Tree Farm in Washington state. The day was on and off with rain, but ultimately they were still able to have their outdoor ceremony and reception in the gorgeous space at Trinity Tree Farm. We hid from the rain when needed and took advantage of the outdoor space as much as we could. Sarah’s dress was one of my favorites from the summer- the layers of it were a dream to photograph. They had a ton of personal details throughout their day. Notes of Hawaiian accents that are special to them- which included tropically accented florals and Maui Brewing Co., as well as Star Wars themed table names. I love little details like this throughout a wedding that tell a bit more about the couple and are unique and special. They said their I Do’s, they danced and they said farewell to their friends and family through a sparkler exit where they left in a vintage car. It was a beautiful wedding and I couldn’t be happier for these two! Congrats E + S!

For Brooke and Ryan’s engagement session, we started in their adorable little home in Seattle before loading up their VW Bus to head East just a bit towards the mountains. I was completely in love with their home, it is full of character and they told me that most of it has been found or bought in second hand or vintage shops- pretty cool! They have two cats that are their world, so we obviously had to get them involved. Their VW bus’s name is Blanche, and we trekked her out to take in some fresh air. They kicked off their session with a fireball shot and the rest was complete magic- they played, they licked faces, it was great. CAN NOT WAIT for their wedding this summer!
