Today is Abby + Bryce’s wedding day! I couldn’t be more excited. I figured it’s as good a time as ever to share their engagement photos! I actually kind of love this because going through their photos made me every more excited for today. We actually took a little trip down to their venue for their photos. I liked this for a couple of reasons- I got to spend car time with them (for those who follow me on IG, you know how much I value my car chats- this is where I get to know my people). We also stopped for Dutch Bros, Abby introduced me to Americano’s, I’ve never turned back since that day. Lastly, I got to see their venue! Which was so fun. Walking around with them, listening to them dream about their day and what was going to be where, and how it was going to be- was so special. I CAN NOT WAIT to see it in action today. Cheers to Abby + Bryce, today is going to be a REALLY FREAKING GOOD DAY.
Brittney and Cody got married downtown Seattle on a gorgeous sunny day. Their venue was tucked in the industrial side of Seattle in a renovated warehouse called Within Sodo. It has dark and moody vibes downstairs which was great for their ceremony and reception space, and a really awesome upstairs patio where this wedding spent most of their reception. B + C had a packed house for the ceremony, with their friends and family filling the space wall to wall with smiles on their faces and happy tears in their eyes. It was so clear how important their people are to them, and they spent majority of the evening laughing, drinking and dancing with their friends. Under twinkle lights and a clear sky, the weather stayed warm and the music kept playing- it was a beautiful and fun day! Cheers to the Gores!

I’ve always said that my dream clients are kind and goodhearted people. Literally from day 1- that is who I want to work with, that is who I want to serve. Jaki and Trevor are those people. I’ve known Jaki since highschool, we played basketball together and were good friends throughout those years. When she came to me about her wedding, my heart exploded. When I finally got to meet Trevor, on their engagement shoot, I couldn’t have picked a better person for my friend Jaki to get to do life with. He is kind, and smart, and takes her on adventures! If you didn’t see their engagement session, you will want to here: PART 1 and PART 2 (yup, so good they had TWO posts about it) Their wedding was nothing short of the amazing day I imagined it would be- they were surrounded by their family and closest friends, she wore a flower crown, her mom made their cake, they got down with a food truck, there was crowd surfing and a wild dance floor, and they exited their wedding with a lavender toss. IT WAS A REALLY. REALLY. REALLY. GOOD. DAY. My heart is so full from this wedding, and I am so grateful to have been able to witness it, capture it, and be along for the ride. Cheers to J + T!
