For Brooke and Ryan’s engagement session, we started in their adorable little home in Seattle before loading up their VW Bus to head East just a bit towards the mountains. I was completely in love with their home, it is full of character and they told me that most of it has been found or bought in second hand or vintage shops- pretty cool! They have two cats that are their world, so we obviously had to get them involved. Their VW bus’s name is Blanche, and we trekked her out to take in some fresh air. They kicked off their session with a fireball shot and the rest was complete magic- they played, they licked faces, it was great. CAN NOT WAIT for their wedding this summer!
For E+S's engagement session, we adventured all around Seattle. I hopped in their Jeep with them and we cruised, we stopped a few places and this was just one. I love the big open fields you can find with the views of the city in this spot. We had weather of all kinds on this day- overcast, sunshine, and ended the day with rain (our perfect opportunity to jump into a small brewery and see what was on tap!) I love weekend days like this, I get to spend quality time with such an awesome couple and really get to know them which makes me so excited about their wedding day!
This shoot screams summertime. Posting it on September 1st almost seems wrong, but this upcoming week is going to be in the mid 90's and I'm thinking there will be some extended summer ice cream evenings in my near future. Meet Isabela and Michael- they're young, cute, and high school sweethearts. We met up to grab some ice cream before heading out towards Snoqualmie for their shoot (those photos to come!) I always recommend fueling up before an engagement session, and this definitely did the trick. Cheers to a summer of fun, sunshine and lots of ice cream (and a few more ice cream scoops this week)
